26 years!

Nov. 1982
Check out our matching hair. :) June 2006 Dec 2007
August 2008
My goodness, time really does fly by. I think our 26th anniversary is hitting me stronger than any before. 1982 seems like a lifetime ago some days and like it was just yesterday others.
My head is so full of mushy stuff this morning! Not going to bore you all with a walk down memory lane (hey remember pac-man, drive-ins, and 80's music?), I will just say to my darling husband, I love you so very much and am so happy to be married to my best friend. Thanks for helping make the last 26 years something worth remembering forever!

Halloween for the grands was pretty cool from what I can tell. We missed seeing them yet again. :( I am crossing fingers that next year they will still be in Georgia and I can talk their parents into coming here for the weekend!
Andrew was a cop and Courtney a cute kitty cat. Are they cute or what?

More By Uncle Curtis

Loved the shot of Courtney & her shadow! :)

Uncle Curtis takes pictures

These pictures were taken by Curtis at the park. He is wanting to take over my camera it seems. I think he is tired of being in all the shots! I enjoyed seeing what he came up with and thought I would share some of them.

A day with the grands!

Time changed and our little Andrew was awake at 5:30! I heard the tv get a little louder and knew someone was waiting on mawmaw to come get him. So I sneak in there and he says "it's almost morning mawmaw". :) It is not morning to him until the sun is up! So we snuggle & watch cartoons while sissy sleeps another hour. As soon as he saw the sun, he was ready to go to the park! We finally got Uncle Curtis up and ready about 9 and off we went to the Carl Miller Park. Look at the wonderful colors of the leaves! We had the park for over an hour just us. Great time to just let them run wild! I wish they lived close enough for me to take them every single day. I am so thankful for this time with them. They lived in NC from 2004-2007 and I just missed so much of their early years. But we are making up for it now!

Halloween 2008

Gosh, Halloween came and went very fast! Curtis is now to the age where what he wears is totally his idea. Ughh, I miss the cute things for halloween. He found this silver mask at big lots and just had to have it for this year. Get it home and he informs me he needs to paint it and make it look like a zombie. Okay, why didn't we just buy what you wanted to begin with?
So he gets the paint and comes up with this ugly thing! I have to say he did a great job and it made a hit on Halloween night with on lookers! Some thought he might be Gene Simons (cause as he walked the hair hung all over his face so you couldn't see the mask) and others that he was just gross which he loved! He soon learned that what mom had told him would be true. "You will not like wearing a mask!" We ended up only going down one side of Greenville street as his face got very itchy. But never fear, mom had candy in the van to fill up his goody bag and off to Pokemon we went! He already has plans for next year using this ugly mask as a prop. So watch out Newnan the "head hunters" are coming. ;)
