The Things I Teach My Kids

La-La and her boys at the park. Okay I really wanted this picture of us so I said sure let's sit in the tree. Drake was like, no we can't. I said sure put the little ones up there and we will hurry. Right before the picture took the man walked up toward us saying "please don't let the kids climb the tree's." Opps! I told him I was so sorry, I just had to get one picture and thanked him for not running us out. They see us here all the time. Next time we will go way back in the park where they will not see us so fast. hahaha
from left front,
Brayden is 2, Drake 10, Gavin 4, La-La (OLD), Blayne 5, Curtis 10 in one more week.
They didn't see us playing on the tables! ROFLMAO

Yet another

Dear Santa,

For Christmas I want monster jam urban assault. It'll be great to get it.

I also want monster jam DVD, I love monster trucks.

I really want a reindeer, I know you won't give it to me but, I would love to have

one, just a small one. A bell that only believers can hear.

a kid that has

never been on your

naughty list

Curtis Cambas

So Curtis is out to send the most letters to Santa in one given year, I do believe!
Had to write a letter for homework or classroom work (I am not sure),
so he wrote to Santa (again!)
I want to know when did he start liking monster trucks? HEHEHE this is a new request.
Also, where the heck would he put a reindeer? Hahaha and anyone got a special bell I can get?

Christmas lights around Newnan

We have been loving the lights our wonderful town has up this year. Our downtown area is one of the prettiest around the state if you ask me. I enjoy stopping and walking through the area just about anytime night or day. Lot's of wonderful light displays at local homes as well. I decided last night to try and record some of them to share with everyone here and get us all in the Christmas mood! Now I need to go back out to the home in Moreland that is just awesome and record it for you! I will try to do that in the next few days.

Mom and Bob have their lights up. I have yet to see it. But will soon. I miss the days when they played Santa and Mrs. Claus and opened the home up to the town of Bowdon. We had some fun times but it sure took up alot of our time. Mom isn't able to handle the crowds anymore coming in and out. I sure could use some of her homemade candy and hot coco right now. Brrr it is so cold today.

I love this time of the year. So much to do and so much to see. It is just a magical time of the year for me. I love the smell of cookies baking, the smell of our fake decorations. Yes, there is a smell to them. It comes in a spray and gives me a little taste of the outdoors. I enjoy laying on the floor with the kids and watching the lights on the Christmas tree (what's funny is they don't move this year, but they still sparkle). Curtis and I like to read in the living room on the rocking love seat with the Christmas lights on and the overhead light on low. It kinda takes us away to whatever we are reading. Right now, he is reading Harry Potter and I am reading Small Town Christmas by Debbie Macomber. It's the little things like this that mean so much to me.

Enjoy this Christmas season. Make it special to you and yours. Enjoy old traditions and make new traditions and be filled with love!

A special thank you to the family that does the lights below. AWESOME job! They have been doing lights a good 10 years or so. The music added to them is something else. We sat and watched a good 5 min. of the 15 min. show. Then I moved on so others could enjoy.
